Interprivacy is the international standard to certify compliance with the main obligations of major personal data protection regulations across the world, including:
- European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of Personal Data (Convention 108+) of the Council of Europe
- Global Cross-Border Privacy Rules (CBPR) Framework and APEC Privacy Framework
- EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF)
- ASEAN Framework for Data Protection
- Personal Data Protection Standards for Ibero-American States
- African Union Convention on Cyber Security and Personal Data Protection (Malabo Convention)
Major Benefits
Interoperable with the European Data Protection Seal (GDPR)
Interprivacy criteria and methodology are closely aligned with Europrivacy, the official European Data Protection Seal under Art. 42 GDPR, but remain geographically neutral.
Interprivacy can be used to document and certify compliance across multiple jurisdictions. It offers a highly interoperable framework that facilitates mutual recognitions. It also enables you to easily move towards a formal GDPR certification with Europrivacy, or to combined both certifications.
Easily Extendable to Complementary Data Regulations
Interprivacy can easily be extended towards complementary regulations, including national regulations (i.e. Swiss FADP, UK GDPR, etc.) and European data regulations (i.e. ePrivacy, Data Act, Data Governance Act, etc.) thanks to its criteria extensions.
